An iron sphere was dropped onto a metal sheet from an height of 4 meters. When the sphere impacted the surface at 8.8 meters per second released all its kinetic energy. This energy was transformed and used to shape the metal sheet, freezing in time the moment of the impact.  The violence and the harshness of that act resulted in a contrasting shape: soft and smooth waves that will last as the memory of that moment.
